    Dear Campbell Chapel,

Both March and April are very important months for us. However, for this note, I will focus on March and specifically, one day in March, March 31, 2024. As we step into the month of March, we find ourselves on a sacred journey—a journey that leads us through Lent, Holy Week, and culminates in the glorious celebration of Easter.

These observances are not mere rituals; they are our compass, guiding us toward the most significant day in all human history—the day when Jesus triumphed over death and was resurrected. The earthly life of Jesus was marked by miracles that defied the natural order, sermons that stirred hearts, and intimate stories that touched our souls.

Yet, as powerful, and memorable as these events were, they find their ultimate meaning and purpose in the resurrection. Without that pivotal moment—the stone rolled away, the empty tomb, and the risen Christ—all else would be incomplete.

During this season, let us reflect on the profound impact of the resurrection. It is the cornerstone of our faith, the foundation upon which our hope rests. Through Christ’s victory over death, we are assured of forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life. His sacrifice on the cross becomes a beacon of love, inviting us to draw near, to embrace grace, and to share this transformative message with the world.

As we journey together, may our hearts be attuned to the echoes of an empty tomb, and may the risen Christ continue to inspire and guide us. Let us walk in the light of resurrection, knowing that we are part of a story that transcends time—a story of redemption, renewal, and unwavering love.

    In Loving Service,

    Pastor Jon R. Black
